What manner of deity is he whose
creation is so sorely flawed. Is it by
erroneous design or malevolent intent,
between either slips but a breath so I
say do not applaud. For the deity that
I would gladly fete, is one who sorrow
and travail can prevent. To love and be
loved is our stated goal, yet we are
left to ponder on mysteries hidden,
commanded by ancient tome’s decree
to save our soul, knowledge of our
purpose forbidden. If bold title of
perfection describes not our world,
despite what is written by assumed
divine law, should we not from a deity
demand so much more.
