Father & son


Dad and I used to build model planes,

after he got bored with model trains.

I say we, but it was actually only dad,

I just watched him but was never sad,

even though they never ever  flew

and remain today, in the loft, like new,

because all that mattered to this lad

was just to be there beside his dad
